Joseph Vadakkumchery (born 1964, in Kerala, India) is a self-taught man of many trades: handyman, driver, gardener, artist, and an expeditor of government paperwork (معقّب).

His lifelong practice explores the virtues of work ethic. He believes that diligence leads to prosperity. Central to this ethos is the “working hand.”

His works were exhibited at Art Week Riyadh in JAX District, Diriyah, Saudi Arabia; Quoz Arts Fest in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, UAE; and Kapralos Museum, Agrinio, Greece.

Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he is proactive in undertaking do-it-yourself projects. Under the moniker Yousef, his upcoming art project is titled D.I.Y. (Do It, Yousef). The project is in partnership with Meshal the Contractor. It is supported by Culture Resource (Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy) and set to debut in 2026.
