Joseph Vadakkumchery (born 1964, in Kerala, India) is a self-taught man of many trades: handyman, driver, gardener, artist, and an expeditor of government paperwork (معقّب).

His lifelong practice explores the virtues of work ethic. He believes that diligence leads to prosperity. Central to this ethos is the “working hand.”

Based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, he is proactive in undertaking do-it-yourself projects. Recently, his work was exhibited at Art Week Riyadh 2025 in JAX District, Diriyah.

Under his moniker Yousef, his upcoming art project is titled D.I.Y. (Do It, Yousef). It is in partnership with Meshal the Contractor. The project is partly funded by Culture Resource (Al-Mawred Al-Thaqafy), and it is set to debut in 2026.
